Unlucky with the generation; by the time I got to decent terrain, too much time had passed. I had too few resources and gold, barely managed to place the rogues. Then I managed to shave a couple of computers, capture 2 Confluxes, and in one of them the birds were almost built. But I kept checking the tavern of thieves and saw that the opponent was pulling far ahead in army and stats, while I only had a couple of tin cans, the home respawn was far away to ferry the army, let alone Dragon Utopias. When the opponent arrived, I had essentially nothing to oppose him with — poor leveling of Müllich, little army, foolishly lost an angel and a couple of birds in a Dragon Utopia, getting not-so-great artifacts in return. I could have run from the opponent through the treasure zone gathering fodder, but that's too dubious an adventure. I surrender. Thanks to the opponent for the game!
