The scenario “A Tear for Ossir”

I'm currently playing this scenario using HotA 3.0, and I'll try out the different options that other players have mentioned above.

Yes, it's true that if you don't read the first sign, the artifact is dug up on the second day at the location with the red flowers or mushrooms, the mission is completed, and you get 46098 points on Recruit difficulty. But somehow, that doesn't feel like playing the game...
