1) I believe that everyone believes in something (in any case). But any belief has its pros and cons. One of the main advantages of faith is that it really helps to cope with most problems (at least morally). But there is also a downside – it tempts people to use the "advantage" every time, even when it is not necessary.
Conclusion: The main thing is not "what to believe in?" but "how to believe?"
2) I have also noticed for myself that the richer and more saturated a faith is with various traditions, rituals, etc., the poorer, materially, its adherents are, and vice versa.
3) There are also interesting questions: when? why? does a person begin to believe?
