Here's a quick overview of the changes and the summary.
The combat system is almost like in Heroes of Might and Magic 3, with minor convenient changes.
All the objects are familiar from Heroes of Might and Magic 3; we'll know all the objects when the game is released and the map editor is available.
City building is like in Heroes of Might and Magic 5 (level system) and with elements of Heroes of Might and Magic 4, meaning some buildings will have to be built as a choice. The creature growth increases not with the Castle or Stronghold, but with a separate building for each creature. However, the growth is immediately doubled, which is very cool.
Heroes come in groups of 4 per week to the tavern with an army, without increasing the cost. One of them is a native hero. Important: they replace the old ones.
The map divisions remain as in Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
Hero leveling is optional; you can level up any hero for any Castle.
Maps, Campaigns, and random maps – we're waiting for the release.
Summary: very promising, we're waiting for the release.
