A long game in which I could have lost if the opponent had made contact a couple of weeks earlier. On week 2, I dove into a max Dragon Utopia, got КВ, and it took off. Until month 2, I was collecting Dragon Utopias and native castles. In the end, I take 3 native castles +15 Griffins per week, build Arch Devils, and rush to the opponent. It would have been an epic battle, but the opponent has no control. GG follows. Thanks for the game.
From the start, I had financial issues. I built levels 1-4 in the Castle because I needed a decoy for the Dragon Utopias and Griffins in the Citadel near the AI. All of the second week, I collected Griffin Conservatories and Trees, almost all of which were Troglodytes. In the end, 10 Angels and 50 Dragons on week two, plus 300 Troglodytes and 80 Harpies — a great army. I take 2 Dragon Utopias, and from the good loot, only a Gladius. Naturally, I have Seafarer's Accessories, as expected. By week three, I only go to the center. Thanks to buffs and leveling, Shakh'ti's combat skill is 30+, the opponent shows 20. There are 2 more Trees in the center. The opponent, lucky for him, went to the other center. In the end, we each took 2 more AI towns — for me, it's the Swamp and the Citadel, and for him, 2 more Ramps.
It could be said each of us played out our half of the map. On weeks 3-4, there's no point in going to the opponent who has control — it's a waste of time. I cleared my half of the map, finding a total of 7 Dragon Utopias, but from all the Dragon Utopias, I only got the Book of Fire, and from the good stuff, all 5, a Sentinel Shield, and armor of 10 SP. After that, nothing but repeats. Naturally, I wasn't given control in the Tower.
In the end, I played while my combat skill was 50+ and the opponent's was 30+. As soon as he reached 62 (I was at 58 at that point), I decided it was time to know when to quit and surrendered. Not at all because Kirr moved towards me with 12 Arch Devils, an Orb, and 4 more combat skill, which is insignificant. I had 16 Angels, 90 Wyvern Monarchs, against his 50+ plain Dragons, 400 Troglodytes, 170 Harpy Hags, 10 Cats, 80 Evil Eyes. Plus, Offensive and Defensive are promising against just Defensive. In my opinion, in such a Face-Off, it's still unknown who has the advantage. However, the opponent could have simply focused on taking castles, leaving me with 1-2 in the end, which is completely hopeless for me, while he peacefully grew with Triples. I decided not to waste time.
Eh, everything was going well, even Shakh'ti's skill progression was almost ideal: I gave him Defensive, Logistics, Earth, and Air. ... but the lack of control nullified everything.
GG, thanks for the game!
