The tournament start date was set to 22.08. Fixed it.
Regarding the hype in the tournament. The HotA version is added as an additional option, with the consent of both players — I see no problem with that.
Regarding templates. It's just like in the army: if we served 3 years, why should you serve 2... and why are you serving 1 year? At first, I also thought about traditions and so on, but later I reconsidered my point of view. Nowadays, newcomers mostly come from streams because they like what's happening. As it happens, 2sm4d(3) is rarely seen on any stream these days, and in tournaments too. Say what you will, the SM template is losing its popularity — whether that's good or bad, the fact remains. I myself am disgusted by this template. So it's logical that the meta is changing and the tournament rules should also evolve, which is why I'm generally IN FAVOR of introducing the "Cherk" template. Another question: which templates should be in the pool? But that needs to be figured out during the process of drafting the regular tournament rules.
Overall, I agree, I think we can even leave 3 templates for the "Cherk" at the group stage.

Don't like the SM template - Dirty, Jebus Cross - Vissu. :D I think a reasonable solution will be found.
As for HotA, sorry, I was mistaken and thought that after the vote this would be the only option; otherwise, why vote??? Anyone who wanted to play on BT (HotA) by mutual agreement could have done so.
My attitude towards SCD remains positive — the young always have a path open to us; although, doesn't it sometimes hurt to consult with older comrades (Pit, Dirty, etc.). :D
