Oh yes, I completely forgot to mention this, but there is also something like this:
There is a certain Ertenian language, as people call it. It is spoken in Illiniare, Nosrenrote, and Tilia. In Kalevritia, its modified form is used. It is also widely spread among all human peoples and countries. Plus, any player character automatically knows it.
However, on the territory of other peoples, this language may not be known. If desired, before leaving/sailing, you can grab some kind of textbook from Gaddara’s library (5c) and learn the chosen language during your journey. Not so much that you master it, but just enough to be able to communicate with native speakers of that language. Like how Nimrinil and Sit'Al are going to (were going to) learn their spells.
