Think with your head, why was SCM the main template in all tournaments? It clearly wasn't because all the previous organizers were less intelligent than you!

It's obviously because it's just a tribute to tradition from the time when 90% of games were played on SCM. Have you seen a recent report on SCM lately?
And there's no point in banning HotU as an additional option. If both players want to play on it, they'll play and create a report as if they were playing SoD.
But forcing players to play 1 game on different templates is just nonsense, IMHO. Newcomers are newcomers because they can only play on 2-3 templates, why do they need all sorts of panic and skirmishes? They could just create their own templates and play on what they know, that's all.
