What bothers me the most is when people start complaining, saying things like "why are there griffins in Haven?" or "why are harpies/centaurs in Barbarian?" or "where did they put the gremlins?" or "the ballista isn't a unit," etc. It's just embarrassing.
And what is there to be embarrassed about? People are simply upset about such a blatant redesign of the game. Moreover, it seems to me that most of the new features are in the spirit of "let's sew a fifth leg onto the dog; it doesn't need it, but it will be very original."
The fourth game isn't bad or good; it's just different.
