My opponent took everything. I had 1 restart left when I got a red ramp against a blue Tower. I decided that such a situation isn't worth restarting, and we played on.
The layout was average: 3 clues, Shield + 4 All, and an external dwelling of horses and archers. I hit 122, took 3 mini hives, found a Pandora's Box at level 4 and a scroll of Flight. At 125, my opponent arrived with a significant army advantage, and I gave him the center, built a guild to level 5.
By 135, I found 2 more external dwellings of horses on a respawn, and the Golden Bow. Then, via Flight, I broke through ГО into a secondary town, took a Griffin Conservatory there and more mini hives. I was catastrophically short on gold. My opponent had full control.
He tried to push the center castles, but he did it better. Plus, the secondary town I broke into, he controlled more than I did. My papa was running along the edge of the map, collecting gold and stats.
In the end, by 146, the opponent approached my main. I decided not to give it up and stayed. He attacked — his stats were slightly higher, both with Armageddon's Blade. I had 70 Grands with a Golden Bow, 37 Vivi, and 28 Griffins, plus a couple of Dragons and Angels.
He had 76 Vivi, 25 Nagas + an Angel, and miscellaneous units.
In the end, the Grands with timely morale pulled through, even though I didn’t see much of a chance for myself.
