First of all, it's not necessary to watch and play with those who enjoy excessively long decision-making processes in the finals, if it bothers you that much. The duration of decision-making doesn't concern those who watch the finals; most of them don't even play (for example, on streams like "Reda," where many gather), let alone play at the top level (regarding "watchability"). But overall, implementing it as an optional setting is a good idea. Those who like it will use it, and those who don't, won't (in fan games). In tournaments, leaving it as a mandatory option should be up to the organizers.
