God... Truth or fiction?

Is extremism only Islamic? What about the IRA – they are Irish Catholic extremists. And they sincerely believe in God and sincerely hate Protestants.
I don't want to condemn any particular religion; I believe they all deserve respect. But I can't stand it when they are imposed on others. Nothing is worse than pushy preachers.
