"To hell with it all!" a voice echoed in Raphael's head. "You've started down the path of sin, so go all the way! Come on, go have some fun with those loose women! It can't get any worse."
A shiver ran through Raphael's body. He clearly heard a foreign voice in his head.
"Who are you?!" Raphael cried out in panic.
"Who am I? Ahahaha! I am your friend. The one who wishes you well."
The knight fell to his knees and began to pray.
"Oh! These stupid prayers again. I'm tired of listening to them. I want to hear the moans of fallen women! So stop with the boring prayers and go to the Gaddar brothel!"
"Lord, have you sent me this trial to test my faith? So that I may atone for my guilt? Give me a sign, God, I beg you!" Raphael looked hopefully at the sky, waiting for a sign from God.
"No one sent me. I have always been with you. I was just sleeping until you took that village idiot."
"I won't listen to you! Begone, demon!"
"I am not a demon..."
Raphael began to pray again and look at the sky. This time, the prayer helped, and the voice fell silent. The moon emerged from behind the clouds and illuminated the knight's face. Seeing the moon emerge from the clouds, the warrior considered it a sign from God, although he didn't understand what the Almighty wanted to tell him. Raphael thanked God, got to his feet, and headed towards the city.
When Raphael learned about the Callevritian church, he immediately headed there. He needed to confess.
