Tournament Regulations.
1. This is an official rated tournament. The Tournament Edition mod is used in this tournament. By default, the game is played on the Ubi server. By agreement, the game may be played via Hamachi, Remobo, COMODO EasyVPN, GameRanger, and similar programs.
2. Tournament deadlines are determined based on the number of registered participants at a rate of: 1 round - 7 days.
01.09.2015 - 23.10.2015: group stage.
24.10.2015 - 30.10.2015: quarterfinals.
31.10.2015 - 08.11.2015: semifinals.
09.11.2015 - 29.11.2015: final.
3. Tournament participants are divided into 2 groups depending on the faction group affiliation declared during registration for this tournament:
- "evil" Dungeon, Inferno, Necropolis, Stronghold
- "good" Academy, Haven, Sylvan, Fortress.
4. An even number of players participate in the tournament. If an odd number is registered, the last player to register will enter as a substitute for someone who drops out.
5. Reasons for a player's removal:
- non-compliance with the regulations and rules of this tournament;
- violation of tournament deadlines without prior notification to the tournament judge;
- fact of violating prohibitions in this tournament;
- rudeness, public insult of the organizer, judge, or tournament participants.
6. All results of a participant who leaves the tournament are passed by "inheritance" to the player entering as their substitute.
7. In the group stage, every player from the "Good" Factions must play against every player from the "Evil" Factions. The template is chosen via a strike-out from the full list of templates for each game following a 1-1-...-1-1 scheme. This rule also applies to the playoff stage (quarterfinal, semifinal, final). Faction selection occurs before each game after the template is chosen. The strike-out is performed by sequentially crossing out one faction for either oneself or the opponent until each player has only one faction left. For the next game, a player's list of factions is reduced by the faction they played in the previous game. After all factions have been played, the faction list becomes full again. Each tournament participant cannot play with one faction more than 2 times in the group stage; in the qf (quarterfinal), semifinal, and final from the full list no more than 1 time for each faction, in the final from the full list for each game. The top 4 best players from each of the "Good" and "Evil" Faction lists advance to the playoff stage. A maximum of 3 games are played in the final. In the group stage, colors are determined by the players themselves. The blue player starts the strike-out of the template and faction. If agreement on color is not reached, the judge determines the players' colors. The player who placed lower than their opponent in the preliminary stage strikes out templates and factions first; they also choose the color in the playoff stage.
Each player must send the chosen faction for the game to the judge before each game.
8. 3 points are awarded for a win, 0 points for a loss, and 1 point for a draw.
9. When determining a player's position in the tournament table within each of the faction groups (good or evil), in case of equal points, the following criteria apply:
- Berger coefficient;
- number of wins;
- number of draws;
- number of losses;
- draw/lottery.
Tournament Rules.
1. By default, the game is played on the Ubi server. By agreement, the game may be played via Hamachi, Remobo, COMODO EasyVPN, GameRanger, and similar programs.
2. Since there is an autosave in the game, it is recommended to save once every 3 days.
3. The use of any bugs, undocumented features, cheat codes, as well as unofficial programs and modifications, except for the TE mod itself (and programs creating virtual networks), is prohibited.
4. In case of connection loss or game crash, the last autosave is loaded; players are required to exactly repeat all their moves up to the moment of connection loss or crash. If a connection loss or crash occurs on the first day of the game, heroes are randomly assigned again.
5. In cases of battles between players, a stalemate situation may arise (where neither player can win). In this situation, the attacking side must retreat or surrender (at their discretion). If the Shackles of War artifact is involved in the battle, then in case of a stalemate, the battle should be finished in AutoCombat mode.
6. Each player has the right to 3 restarts with map regeneration no later than the third day (the end of the day is considered the pressing of the turn-pass button, regardless of whether the opponent has completed their current turn or not); after a restart, races and templates are reset to those determined before the restart. If a restart is taken on 1-1-1, the player has 2 days of restarts for the next map (meaning they can take another 2 restarts on 1-1-1, or 1 restart on 1-1-2). If a restart is taken on 1-1-2, the player has 1 day of restarts for the next map (meaning they can take 1 more restart on 1-1-1). If a restart is taken on 1-1-3, the player has no rest days for the next map.
Connection loss or desync in week 1 - technical restart (except cases where both players are ready to continue).
Connection loss or desync in week 2 and later - game continues (except cases where both players are ready to start over).
7. "Red-rush" is prohibited, meaning an attack by red on the first day of the week with purchased growth (the red player may attack on the first day, but without purchasing growth).
8. Any joining of neutrals is prohibited; as an exception, those who joined can be sacrificed into a pit or sold at the market.
9. It is forbidden to use the "Astral Gates" travel spell to jump from any zone into the opponent's starting zone if the portal/garrison connecting them has not been broken. It is also forbidden to use the "Astral Gates" travel spell to jump to an adjacent zone of the opponent and enter the opponent's starting zone in the same turn.
10. Pressing wait on Krag's first strike in battles with opponent heroes is prohibited; it is allowed against neutrals.
11. Attention! LOADS are PROHIBITED in this tournament!!
Exception: a mutual agreement has been reached by both players on the number of loads. If, despite the agreement on the number of loads, players have disagreements about the outcome of the game (win/loss) due to loads, the tournament judges reserve the right to decide the outcome.
12. List of templates: crown, labyrinth, M3, letos, sun, spider, rainbow, mask.

If all creatures of both players die at the end of a battle / final battle, the one who performed the last action on the battlefield wins (for example, cast Armageddon's Blade, broke the crystal, hit with lava dragon creatures and died from fire shield damage).
The Superfinal between the best "good" and "evil" is conducted according to a 3b0 scheme. The template list is always full. The side that loses in the preliminary stage/previous game will start the strike-outs and choose the color.
They strike out one template or one faction from their own and opponent's lists alternately until only one template or one faction remains for each.
The winner of the match writes the report on the played game. The defeated party must confirm it. It is desirable to record the final battle; in a disputed situation, it may help the Tournament judges.
The report on the played game should be formatted as follows:
Player1 (faction, main hero(es)) def. | lost Player2 (faction, main hero(es)) - Template, month-week-day
where def. indicates victory, lost indicates defeat
The report may also contain a brief description of interesting moments of the game.
Example
kontra (Dungeon, Sinitar) lost Sir_Moz (Sylvan, Wyngaal) - Spiral, 2-1-6
or
Vsev (Лига Теней, Иранна) def. Bradiaga (Орден Порядка, Аксель) - Spider, 1-4-2
Reports must be provided by both players.
