I immediately switched to Necropolis; I had a close-combat Necromancer, and everything was going well, but the first Fortress Battle happened at the beginning of the second month. On that day, the Scorpion's stats decreased by approximately 7 each. I thought it had Amulet of the Dead, but I still didn't quite believe it, as the stats were still high. I attacked and was easily defeated because it also had +3 speed. I only managed to buy myself out with 1,000 skeletons. After that, I controlled the map with three heroes and took the Scorpion's cities. I also found another Amulet of the Dead and leveled up Mullich, who gained the anti-magic skill, hoping that the Scorpion didn't have the Black Orb. When the slow effect didn't work on my large stack of Vivs in the Fortress Battle, everything became clear.
However, after the game, it turned out that in the first Fortress Battle, the Scorpion didn't wear the shackles, and in the last one, it didn't wear the Black Orb. But even with it, I would have had a better chance.
