The Kalevrites don't really have any particular motives for attacking them. First, Illiniar is much stronger, and second, they are surrounded by far more dangerous enemies from a religious point of view than their fellow humans (even if they are more dissolute and do not accept their religion as the official one).
2. There are no large landowners in Kalevrit as such. The land belongs either to the clergy or to small landowners who actually work on it.
3. And although the sacred warriors of Kalevrit conduct military campaigns on a regular basis, some points bother me. That is, if we compare it to real crusades, then the siege of even one Shunite city can be compared to the capture of Jerusalem by the crusaders, i.e., it is not a simple task and requires direct preparation, and not just doing it "in between other things."
