In the end, I still didn't understand what the player characters were for. The plot was centered on the missions on the island of the Chaldeans and the approach to it, but in general, we didn't do anything in this scenario. And, in addition to this, given the way the plot is presented, I think it would have been much more reasonable to make all the player characters members of the order from the beginning, because without this, the effect of the previous paragraph is only exacerbated.
