Until the end of the group stage, I suggest not changing anything. If there's a desire to negotiate, agree on it with your opponent, and it will become clear how much support there is for it. I even recommend indicating in the reports at the beginning whether there was a trade for a hero or not, which will provide a picture for the next stage.
