Instead of answering, his father walked up to him and grabbed him by the shoulder. The surroundings around them blurred and changed. Instead of the blooming garden, there was a desert. "This is what the soul of a person deprived of feelings looks like," he said calmly. Immediately, the illusion vanished, and the blooming garden was around them again.
