eh, let me put in my "two cents"...
In my humble opinion, I believe that infinite ballista bolts are a BUG. because if you click on the ballista, you can see that the developers intended to provide the ballista with only 24 shots... want more? get a cart...
In this tournament, the use of bugs is supposedly forbidden... but for some reason, they allowed the use of this one.. and that is not right... :smile48: Of course, I am not calling for the rules to be changed now, as it is already too late and many have already finished...
Thank you for your attention. Respectfully.
Dmitry_A_S, Kyle is the one who deserves a bravissimo. Many players took it for granted that this was a bug and didn't even intend to ask the organizer in PMs, and since the rules forbid bugs but didn't provide a list of forbidden bugs. THAT IS EXACTLY WHY I didn't ask the organizer in PMs. Because the issue with the rules and the bug list would have been postponed indefinitely again. If you want to change something - act. Strike while the iron is hot :) Plus, I didn't have an automator. If I had asked in PM, so what? VDV would have let me use it and what choice would I have had? Either be an idiot and grind the battle for 20 hours, or use ArtMoney (I wouldn't have been caught and I would have taken screenshots), but ArtMoney is officially banned and even if I used it, I would have felt bad, although personally I believe that in such a battle ArtMoney is not cheating, but an automator :) Then the conversation turned to bugs. And I pointed out this bug, but I didn't explicitly say that it applied to this tournament; I didn't name the battle, the monsters, or the quantity. I could have asked about this in another thread, or eventually on another resource, but who would have benefited from that?? People of this resource or ANOTHER resource?? It's not my fault that many quickly realized which battle was being discussed. And thanks to the broadcast message, ALL players received an automator. And those who are chatting and attacking me must have already had one, but didn't tell anyone. And this isn't about skill. This is called knowing a bug could be used, having an automator, but keeping it all from the public, placing themselves above all other tournament participants. Of course, they don't like it now that all this has become available to others. So don't tell me blah-blah about how everyone will complete the map the same way. We'll see. I'm not even sure that the start with this battle will be the same for everyone :)
Kyle, I owe you a plus point ;)

Alex R, you know how to read between the lines. Bravissimo!
...A little more and we'll be able to post one general collective Walkthrough of the tournament map, again, only out of good intentions, so that everyone is on "equal terms".
Stop joking - better tell me if you passed this battle using the described method - then what did you use to pass it - you couldn't have had time to use the vbn automator. Then the options are:
1. I had my own automator
2. Used ArtMoney or other software (specify)
3. Passed manually (please specify the time)
4. Passed the battle in another way (DO NOT specify how for now)
5. Other (specify, what on earth was it)

I think that this question of mine and your answer will no longer be considered a discussion of this tournament :)

I also don't consider it something bad, BUT ONLY when it happens in the appropriate thread and at another time (not while the tournament is ongoing).
I have been convinced many times (in life) that the rules of the game should be discussed BEFORE the game starts, then no problems arise. But because someone always finds something unclear, some clarifications are unavoidable. But one must always understand what can be written openly and what is better to ask the organizer privately.
Let me give an example: if it's such a harmless thing as "which version can be played", then I think you can safely write "for everyone".
But if it's some subtle nuance of the game, like the one with the ballista or a week of monsters +5 - then such a thing should be asked of the organizer in PM. And he, in turn, can decide for himself what to announce to everyone and what to answer only to the person who asked. For example: the organizer can announce the +5 monsters week to everyone!!!
as for the ballista - it could have been answered privately (although I would have avoided this situation entirely using one of the known methods).
And in the end, it turns out that if you read this thread and the "automatic ballista control" thread, you can not only make the same move as all participants, but also imagine a general picture of the completion. And if you try hard enough, you can already estimate a preliminary results table.
I completely disagree with you on everything regarding this matter. Because according to the existing rules, I can already see how everything was discussed well BEFORE the tournament :) Then a subtle nuance with the ballista is considered a bug by many (including myself) - and bugs are forbidden. But as it turned out, this specific bug is allowed and considered a feature. And why should this question be discussed in PMs with the organizer? ALL players are equal. This question did not pertain to the discussion of the Walkthrough, but to the clarification of the rules for Tournaments (whether it's a bug or not - if a list had been posted in advance, perhaps the question wouldn't have arisen), and this already pertains to broadcast questions, because all players participating in the tournament MUST PLAY BY THE SAME RULES. So direct all your dissatisfaction wherever you want - just not at me :)
