We played a fun game, everything random. I got Klavius and various mages. The respawn was small, without dwellings, but with lots of quest houses. On day 112 I got boots for blue fairies, was happy; there was one hive on the respawn. I had to use a scout hero with boots to kill other fairies to take the sawmill.
On day 4 only Klavius runs into the adjacent zone, trudges along a road that leads to a village, which is native, but guarded by 100+ advanced water elementals. Had to gather some skeletons and go home to take the hive on the second attempt and go the other way.
Along the road there was a nice bonus in the form of quest artifacts, which were exchanged back home on the second day for 5000 exp and 60 lizardmen. Almost no money, but a cozy little swamp 1-6 with a citadel.
On the second day, 100 skeletons and 30 gnolls take the hive guarded by 8 Wyverns, scouting begins, Klavius runs around gathering skeletons with advanced Haste, clears the second adjacent zone, gains experience, grabs a couple more hives with 8 griffins; again the road leads to a village, so I have to go after the computer opponent, who is dangerously close. Meanwhile, Miranda finishes learning advanced Scholar, which allows teaching the main hero to resurrect undead with advanced Earth magic. So, the third week comes to an end, I planned to run towards the already revealed Dragon Utopia, but it turns out that in the enemy castle sits Ciele with advanced water elementals and a couple of Naga. Changed my mind about rushing, barely managed to return all the troops from the scout hero back to the main hero, thank goodness there was a village nearby.
On his turn, DreadKn1ght unexpectedly attacks with 47 ice elementals and 120 mana, I thought he would try to buy his hero back - he casts Haste on 300 skeletons, and on his turn Dread just crashes into them :(
Too bad the game didn't really go well from his side.
