Fortress, what do you think about the cost of building it?
may not generate enough griffin conservatories and dragon fly hives; the problem is that they are a decisive strategic part of the game. If we take diplomacy for level 1 and 2 creatures, increase growth, and make the fort cheaper, then dragon fly hives and griffin conservatories won't matter as much; these changes essentially won't give that much.
diplomacy is fixed exactly where online games start, and everywhere at that. When we used to play hotseat, nobody forbade joining, building forts, and the game lasted 4-5 months, but, you see, they moved away from that and the game became faster. First of all, it saves real time — if you have the opportunity, build a fort for 3k and offer, for money or otherwise, to any strong player to make a bet, and at the same time test your theory. But most likely you will lose, and not because of skill, but because of tempo first and foremost.
