I haven't been to the movies in about a year and a half, and if you don't count occasional outings with classmates, it's been several years. I haven't watched cartoons for longer than I care to remember, but I think 7-8 years is a close estimate. I didn't do it not because of some kind of snobbery or anything, but simply because I naturally assumed that during my time away from cartoons, they had turned into mindless entertainment for children and immature fools. still, it seems it was snobbery after all The wonderful Pixar studio was bought by Disney, which means they probably also started churning out generic, low-quality stuff like the Madagascar movies. But today, to avoid upsetting my dear mother and sister, I went with them to see the cartoon Inside Out, intending to take a good nap. My skepticism lasted about a minute or two before I told myself, "That's an interesting idea, I wonder how they'll develop it." My grumpiness lasted about 10-15 minutes, I can't say for sure, and then I was laughing along with everyone else in the theater. In general, I've talked more about myself than about the cartoon, but it's hard to say anything specific about it. Everything is there – an original idea, a simple but pleasant plot, lots of jokes, a little sadness (SADNESS), pleasant music, and as a result, it's all interesting and enjoyable to watch together. They even included at least one reference to a famous neo-noir film from the 70s, which surprised me and therefore made me happy. In general, I got a lot of pleasure from watching it, and I wish the same for you. 8.5/10 (I took the rating from Kinopoisk)
