3 restarts, and that's what we settled on.
111 - Kalh brought along not very many Gogs, right in front of the Castle there are mini and pre-mini Conservatories (both with Griffin Conservatory), and an external dwelling of Devils under a horde of Assassins, Cassia is sitting in the Tavern. Decided to play as Cassia, scouted the directions - to one village there is a block consisting of a horde of Assassins, to the other the road goes off into the distance.
112 - took the Zombie Horde with Cassia, Cassia takes the land. Scouted the surroundings, gathered funds. The road to the second village still goes off into the distance.
113-114 - was running around leveling Cassia while building Efreets. Cassia flat out refuses to level either Earth or Offense, Tactics is everything... in the end, Advanced Earth, Advanced Offense, Expert Tactics. Slow is nowhere to be seen, the road to the village still goes off into the distance, but a Bolt has already been placed on it.
115 - Conservatory taken, Slow found, being brought in. + a few more stats.
116 - External dwelling of Devils taken, searching for Mercury (no Marketplace). Assassins got riled up and chewed up all the Devils and Nymphs.
117 - Mercury not found... chains are a bit crooked, but a full buy from the Castle will still work out.
121-122 - 3 more Conservatories are taken (2 pre-mini, one pre-maxi), Vampire's dwelling (Cloak +2), I take a position to break into the Gate - at the Gate there are upgraded Nagas - I was afraid to attack them earlier, plus the chains weren't coming together well.
123 - I break into the Gate (8 Angels and a few Devils were scattered), however I have no mana (in fact I never did, Cassia isn't very smart, only 2 Knowledge points and there was no time to replenish, so I left exactly 5 mana for the Nagas). I hit a Pandora's Box guarded by 49 Scorpicores, they roughed me up a bit, the terrain helped a little - in the Pandora's Box there are Green Dragons, behind it a War Machine Factory - didn't go, I had no movement points, I took a position to break into the next Pandora's Box with a full army. That's when the bucket of oil and 25 Defense hit me - Game Over.
A very tedious game turned out. Massive respawns and the thin armies of Inferno really burned the timer. Everything was placed at serious distances from each other, so chains of 7-8 heroes are normal. Taverns saved the situation a bit.
In the end I came out with 6 Hydras, 35 Gargoyles, 8 Cyclopes and 70+ Greater Lizardmen and immediately saw the opponent on the road. I attacked and he turned out to have 0 mana against my 20 and oil.
Notably, a very big contribution in the final battle was made by the artifact knocked out of a Crypt on 111 - +2 mana per day. Essentially, all the extra mana in the final battle is due to it, because there were no Wells, no secondary skills, and I built the Mage Guild in my native Castle on 121. Thank you for the game.
