Extraterrestrial civilizations. What is your opinion?

Well, I understand that you accept the theory of parallelism. That is, roughly speaking, 2 factions were born separately and lived and developed separately. But what if we think about the fact that they settled on Earth first? After all, no one knows for sure where "homo sapiens" came from, right?;) And what if one of the alien factions is our very, very distant ancestors?:)

I think that even if we have very distant ancestors, in the process of evolution (or whatever they call it))) they are still so different at this stage that there may not be any kinship at all... Yes, I believe that there are parallel developing branches of intelligent beings. It is logical to think that each galaxy, universe, or even planet offers different conditions for life, which, in turn, determines the development of different forms of life endowed with intelligence. Even if intelligent beings, homo sapiens, once had a common ancestor, a community of intelligent organisms that, for certain reasons, had to leave the planet and turn to other worlds, in the process of living there, they mutated and gave rise to completely new beings, which would be difficult to call an "exact copy" of these ancestors;)
