The opponent played with a handicap, as he finished the previous tour late; we agreed to play black, I got to choose the color and first pick of faction. We vetoed templates, the opponent chose Jebus Cross.
We spent all the restarts. Scouting in 2 days showed a Griffin Conservatory and... that's it. Lots of gold, decent average artifacts, but no external dwellings or Dragon Fly Hives / Zeffir Hives visible. Also Tazar is visible on the opponent's side, and Kyrre is leveling like a woman(c), no Tactics, no Earth-Air, taken with WisdoM and Scouting. Scouting, by the way, helped a lot, but elemental magic never showed up. On day 113, there were two empty towns and a dragon external dwelling visible. Also a Troglodyte Griffin Conservatory was found, which turned out to be a level 2. And by the end of the week, another level 2 Griffin Conservatory was found, along with speed boots +2 to everything behind the hydras. What can I say, three level 2 Griffin Conservatories are very nice for capturing with week 2 growth. And on the fly, but without mana, I exit on day 122, grab a couple of Zeffirs, a Mana Vortex, and see a GO on the grass. On day 124, with Scouting, I see the opponent preparing to march out, so I split to replenish mana. The scout hero takes the central castle to allow for a quick return. The opponent doesn't cut my chain and conveniently sets himself up for an attack. With 20 cyclopes and 9 angels, 110 mana, and a huge stat advantage, the violet went one-sided. Thanks for the game.
