Maybe because "websites" and the internet were invented by people who speak "a different language." In general, following your logic, the website should move to a Cyrillic domain.
So what difference does it make who invented the internet? All the menus and themes on the site are in Russian. 95 percent of the users are also Russian-speaking. It turns out that only 5 percent can read the report normally, well, maybe another 15 percent can read English fluently... The rest need to use various translators. Why make life more complicated for the majority?
