"What makes you think that the Bible is not the Word of God and that not everything in it is true?"
1) "If I haven't seen it, I don't know" - you recently used this as proof of the non-existence of extraterrestrial civilizations; the same can be said about God.
2) There's no need to be deluded; there are many religions, and everyone is convinced of their own rightness. You are placing your faith above all others.
3) This is just another faith, like any other, and therefore I will not say that it is true.
About the universe: I apologize for speaking without thinking.
I'm not good with grammar, I'm just not.
Quote: And most importantly, it's easy: "It just can't be."
I didn't claim anywhere that something "just can't be."
About the Bible:
Why couldn't God create someone after us?...
Why should God bring us the knowledge that we are not alone?...
Why can't God protect us (as his most beloved) from others (protect us from others, prevent them from reaching us, etc.)?
In general, in my opinion, the topic is silly and not for debate, because no one knows or has seen, because here it is "faith," which makes a person great (here, here! It makes a person like God! And the smartest (after God)). Everyone is convinced of their own. And everyone has proof.
P.S. And yet, we cannot prove or disprove the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations and/or God.
