Here are a couple more minor tips: for short movements of the hero, it is often more convenient and accurate to use the numpad buttons; also, in interfaces, such as opening a chest or selecting a secondary skill, the final decision is made when releasing the Enter key – and therefore, an incorrect decision can be replayed without releasing Enter and using the left mouse button or the 1/2 keys (I once managed to do this with diplomacy :)).
