The Faceless race.

Guys, read Le Guin; the idea of the Faceless (Unnamed) comes from there. It's not a race, but an element, immeasurably more powerful than the elementary elements (fire, earth, water, air) – Darkness, which is older than the world and always exists. It cannot be destroyed because the Faceless "live" in every shadow... Malassa was just an emanation, far from being the strongest of the Faceless. Creating such a "race" is simply an insult to the very idea of Darkness. IMHO.
