Poor main hero with useless artifacts, two paths: one leads to the Guardian, the other to the Barbarian zone. The third option is to take three serpent gates from the castle. The path to the Citadel is also long and leads to double disappointment: all the good stuff in the zone is guarded by 50-99 level mages. To clarify: they were standing exactly halfway across the map from the main hero.

I had to go back (without splitting up, there was a strategic resource node halfway) and to another secondary location, into the snowdrifts: a blue scout flashed by there, and there was a chance to make contact and prevent the opponent from getting ahead, as I had already lost the tempo.

80 lizards and 8 vipers – that’s all I had (lizards from the outpost + Legion’s Foot) – went into the underground treasure, but I had to retreat without much success: the guards were exceptionally strong. All that was left was to take the home Naga resource node – a group of twenty, there was nothing else worthwhile left.

And now I’m back in the treasure. If I can secure it as a base, there’s hope for a win through mass vipers. But no, the opponent appeared there one turn after me, and closer to the vipers – 5 of them, my hope.

There wasn’t enough time to even bring reinforcements. This is game over. Disappointing.
Thanks for the game!
