Discussion of CIS-2015 details

I'd like to reiterate my point regarding the CIS-2015 tournament: the title of winner has nothing to do with the CIS concept. Hell is a strong player, and I'm not questioning his success, but calling this tournament "CIS" without the participation of players from Ukraine is like calling it a "Siberia" or "Moscow" championship.

I disagree. If we're being objective, the tournament was announced as a CIS event more than six months ago, if I'm not mistaken. I didn't notice any particular complaints from Ukrainians on the forum regarding where the CIS tournament would be held before the tournament took place. As far as I know, the organizers and other participants didn't prevent (personally) any player from attending, whether they were from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, the USA, China, etc. Even if we consider that there were no players from Ukraine, and usually there are two or, at most, three participants (which is 1/5 or 1/8 of the participants in the CIS tournament held in Volgograd). Well, and finally, if we're optimistic and think about what else could have been done:
1) Hold the tournament in Minsk, but immediately two thoughts arise: it was held there not so long ago, and does Lizard even want that?:D
2) Hold the tournament in Ukraine - unfortunately, given the unfortunate events taking place in Ukraine, this is unlikely from my point of view :-( (but this is just my personal opinion)
3) Hold the tournament in another city in Russia - but again, there was a vote (open), in which Volgograd won.

I hope Pit will not take my words as criticism of his words or anything else, but as a realistic view of the things we have undertaken to discuss.

We could become official, create our own HMMIII department, and the main tournaments and events would be covered on their website (and even in the media).
