How many factions are there?

So, Nival is releasing its last expansion pack, so what's the point in guessing how many factions there will be? There will be 8, and that's it. :D

Last or not, it's nice to dream. Besides, just because they say it's the last one doesn't mean anything. Perhaps, according to Ubisoft's plans, the orc expansion is the last one, but the fans' dissatisfaction may soon cause a reaction, such as the release of another unplanned expansion. After all, Ubisoft has already shared a lot of information about the scope of the Heroes project on all the forums, and someone will be very unhappy with the saga ending with only 8 factions.
