We started right away without rests, but if I had Ryland from the start + 6 elves, which is a sin to rest, then why RockMachine didn't rest, I don't know.. :)
I played with Expert Diplomacy and a horde of gr. griffins from the Griffin Conservatory, in the end I spotted a green relative, and precisely on day 117 captured the Castle - on day 121 killed him, also marking an external dwelling of pointy-ears along the way. On day 123 I joined 70 gr. griffins for free and checked the Griffin Conservatory - 3-4 with a gr. stack, decided not to lose troops)) and just ran to the opponent, since he had no army at all in the first week, even with a leveled Sorcha. On day 125 I ran to the Castle, thought a bit (I was without a spellbook and was estimating a possible ransom), there was also an alternative - to open the Cartographer in 2 turns, but still I decided to attack the weak hero in the Castle. 1500HP pulled it off!
The post-mortem showed there was a box with 15K exp behind moved guards and Expert Diplomacy, with decent treasure, so I arrived just in time.
