How do you imagine the races in Heroes of Might and Magic?

After thinking it over, this is the picture that emerges
humans - Europeans, Christianity
mages - Islam + Greeks
Necromancer - Judaism
dark elves - something Eastern, because of the hieroglyphs
dwarves - Scandinavians
Barbarian - Mongols, African tribes
but I would do it like this:
humans - Europeans
demons - let them just be demons
mages - Greeks, or something European
Necromancer - let them just be necromancers
elves, they are elves and there is no need to link them to Native Americans, they have nothing in common except that they shot bows; I would make the druids as they should be, using a bit of Celtic mythology
dark elves, no need to link them to specific cultures
dwarves - Scandinavians
Barbarian - nomads
