We should rather compare it to political voting, where over 50% means a party gains the status of the leading party in Parliament. At the same time, even 20% is enough for another party to have its representatives in Parliament, and, accordingly, have a say in decision-making. That's why the "checkbox" is the right decision. It's a compromise.

I've always "understood" the compromise regarding the recognition of only Orthodox religious holidays as national holidays. How many believers are there in the country? And how many agnostics, and how many atheists? And where are their holidays? I won't even mention Muslims, Catholics, and Jews. But this is an example of how influence is exerted in decision-making. "There" they have Halloween and many official holidays for various denominations. Of course, we should draw inspiration from other sources. But we need to create our own, original ones, as close as possible to the spirit of the game and acceptable.
