The huge number of save files in the maps folder also causes lag (reading headers) when connecting. By the way, here's an idea. It would be much more convenient if saves were saved in folders. This would make it faster to delete them and perform other operations in bulk. For example, if nicknames are written in the save file, the folder name would display Vne zakona-2 Zoog vs Vatya (and the name would be entered somewhere before the start in a field, where Mygame=My game is entered before starting an online game). And then a log of the entire game (+system messages - who left when, etc.), correspondence, the opponent's password would be recorded (after the game, of course, or even a "finish game" button with a request, and then the necessary and related information would be recorded automatically) and some kind of possible statistics. And also a checkbox so that saves could be archived (after repacking) so that their total size would be the same - at the level of 300 kilobytes (this used to be done by some small program for quick exchange, as far as I remember). And isn't this preparation for something like Steam?
+1000. I'm tired of manually cleaning and renaming folders
