Instead, outline and explain all the pros, cons, and nuances of the restructuring. Many don't even understand what they were voting for, whether for or against.

And I'm sure that many haven't even encountered unpleasant situations while playing SOD, when you try and spend a lot of effort, nerves, and time on building, sometimes you get what you want, but the GM takes it away and gets what you were working on, sweating like an elephant. It's even more annoying if some random player takes a village or castle with a Town Portal.
But with this, you build, you get it, you rebuild, and you feel better.

Added after 4 minutes

1) Call it something else, not SOD, but at least SOD++, and indicate that this is a SOD mod, not a classic one.
2) Don't interfere with SOD (in official tournaments), stand aside, create your own tournaments "SOD++ Tasting" and so on.
