REWORK for the Academy. Is it needed or not?

Healthy debates without personal attacks have never harmed any forum. However, silencing people has harmed many. If tensions start to rise within a community, it's important to allow everyone to express their opinions and vent their frustrations. It might be a bit unpleasant at first, but over time, things will settle down. If you suppress and delete, the tension will still find a way to surface, but in a different place and at a different time, and usually in a less ethical manner.

For some reason, he decided that he can close down lively discussions that don't violate the forum rules, are relevant to its theme, and don't contain attacks or insults.
