If you evaluate the fourth installment as a standalone game, it's simply excellent. But if you consider it as a continuation of the Heroes series, it's not very good. For example, the action doesn't take place on Xeen because it was destroyed :( I thought the fourth game would be dedicated to Yadam (M&MVIII). And in general, the entire gameplay is noticeably different from the previous installments... I can only praise it for its powerful map editor. I'm currently working on creating a campaign :cool:
