The rules there are the usual HeroesWorld ones. Only the shifted guard rule does not apply (since it is shifted for both).

IMHO, that's a mistake. It's not quite right to collect everything on the fly for free. If you play by the rules, then play by the rules. I don't see the point in allowing/forbidding something separate for a mirror match.

And where did you see "what the heck"? No one has posted them yet, apparently...

I think the point is that they sat on the mirror skirmish for probably half a year, and when they organized a tournament, it turned out the people weren't into it. They could have just released it, let the players test it out, fix the bugs, and run a proper tournament.
