A small respawn with an external dwelling of ogres, Solmyr as the fourth hero, and a scout revealing a view of the enemy main - I didn't even think about a restart, so we started without resets. There is a road to the portal behind the goblins, and an exit through rough terrain onto the lava behind the hogs. I never broke through the portal because from the scout's vantage point on the lava, I could see a lot of interesting things. I gathered some money and stat boosts there; by the end of the week I found a +2 Axe, a health ring, and a Griffin Conservatory in the very corner. The strategic placement of the well was very helpful; in the end, I was clearing guards and replenishing mana nearby, and there was also a shrine with Lightning Bolt there. Solmyr with Intelligence and Earth Magic, dwelling 1-4 in a Citadel with an external dwelling of ogres.

On the second week, I break through a hundred Harpies to the center, take the central necropolis with a scout hero, then check the Griffin Conservatory with another scout hero - a Double with Golden Bow, perfect. I recruit at 19 ogres and with a growth increase from the left hero. Mana for three Chain Lightnings, I lose 10 ogres. Solmyr splits into the necropolis to replenish mana, although I was afraid they would ambush him, but there was no other way to keep pace. Nila retrains Slow from Gundula, learns Haste from the shrine at home and starts splitting. On day 124, Solmyr runs away towards the sands; Iona appears from the portal and takes the necropolis. There's an Angel, 4 Efreeti, and 60+ Gogs, stats 2233 and 60 mana; I decided not to attack after all, as I only had 2 Angels, 8 Ogres, and junk for meat. I take two Pandora's Boxes with 20 Air Elementals and 90 Sprites, and break through the guard of a Dragon Fly Hive. On my turn, Iona comes closer; I finish off the Dragon Fly Hive for 6 Wyverns and attack. After the Mass Slow, a surrender follows.
