Yeah, that's the one, and also, the guy playing Necropolis isn't working properly; he reduces damage with earth magic before the battle.

I found the problem; I have an external hard drive installed, and it was trying to load the game from there instead of the computer. Now everything is working fine, and the heroes are working.
BUT now, for some reason, every hero on any map refuses to engage in battle... [profanity]
