Sure, if you get the Astral Gates.
In general, the mission isn't difficult; there are a lot of upgrade opportunities, and Frída was already practically a terminator at the start. Andreas didn't bother me unless I provoked him by entering his territory. I played as a hero, completed it in 4 months, and explored the entire map. I defeated Andreas, captured both garrisons, and Duncan took the port city. I maxed out both heroes, taking into account all the upgrades. :)

By the way, a couple of questions arose during the playthrough.
First: why did we fight against Andreas, when after liberating Duncan, Frída was on the same side as them? Logically, I thought that after that, the red faction should either come under our control or become allies.
Second: what was the purpose of the Lava Dragons guarding one of the portals? I didn't attack them until the very end, when I had explored the entire map, thinking there was a scripted quest involving them, but I didn't find anything. They just joined me, and that was it...
