Which came first: matter or spirit?

Yes, a human body consists of cells, and the body of a mountain consists of stones. And every cell and every stone has its own soul. But the soul of a mountain is not the sum of the souls of all the stones that compose it, nor is the soul of a human the sum of the souls of its cells. When a body is assembled from parts, it acquires new properties that are not equal to the sum of the properties of individual elements. It is exactly the same with the soul.
And the soul of plasma or fire is extremely volatile. Every fraction of a second it changes, becoming unlike the previous one.
Furthermore, I do not consider myself a panpsychist; I am simply trying to look at the world objectively.
Regarding definitions:
Matter — a substance possessing physical properties and obeying physical laws.
Soul — an astral substance (or if that is clearer for some, an inophysical one), possessing properties that have no physical analogues.
