The start was poor, but I thought I could handle Galtran - I captured the compost ring by week 1, day 7, placed wolves and eagles there, with efreeti and pits at home. My main mistake here was rushing with my main hero and army after the bot, didn't want to lose the town and its growth, costing -2 days. Then another 1.5 days on the Naga Bank (had to demon it), and breaking through the road, and by then the opponent had already arrived with 5 Angels. At that point, I should have fled immediately - there was still one road left, but the 3rd mistake was going for the Griffin Conservatory (there were 3 of them, all 1.5-2 days' travel from the road). It's a level 1 hero, 0 mana, no road except back to the opponent, bgg.

One road from the spawn to the portal along a winding path, the heroes were mediocre, didn't really feel like playing, but there was only one rest left and on the full random I decided not to risk it. There was a Dragon Fly Hive, two Griffin Conservatories, and quick access to the treasure zone, right next to the portal. Captured my home town, there were two more roads to pink and turquoise, but I didn't go there. In the first week, I picked up two external dwellings of Gnolls, one of Lizardmen and one of Serpent Flies, hired Gundula at the tavern, and took her around the stat boosters. At home: Wyverns and Serpent Flies in the Citadel.

On day 2 week 2, Bron comes in with 7 Basilisks. I send Gundula into the hive, it's the maximum spawn, they eat up a nice stack of Lizardmen, but the Wyverns immediately become 17. I defeat Bron at the Naga Bank, there's a level 4 stack, capture it with Gundula, losing a Wyvern. Then upgrade Wyverns and Serpent Flies, took the mini and maxi Griffin Conservatory, sent scouts through the treasure zone, nothing to catch there. Broke through the computers, from Tower there's a bugged passage, and there the opponent already was. Then I checked for lack of mana and attacked when Galtran left himself exposed.
