Elves are garbage... and weaklings on top of that. Get to them with anyone, and they're dead.

Quite the harsh opinion. Sorry, but not every archer shoots twice, and even then, with such a powerful counterattack (YES, ELVES HAVE RECOIL LIKE AN AK-47!!!). On towers, they are monsters. Tigers lose to them, that's clear to everyone. You only build tigerlings when resources are scarce... But if you have room to expand, elves are simply the better choice without a second thought!
"Get to them with anyone, and they're dead" - this applies to everyone. There's no strategy here.
