Registration and qualification continue until the end of the first round. There will be no continuation of the official draw; all players who registered and qualified after the start of the tournament must find their opponents for the first round independently.

The deadline for the first round is 15.05.2015 (3 weeks).

This isn't "half a day of tempo," but IMHO a total shift in strategy. To me, Stronghold became stronger because on the first week it became possible to place both Mighty Gorgons and Cyclopes (relevant, of course, first and foremost for Jebus Cross and Diamond, and still). With the requirement to upgrade Goblins, you'll have to make a strict choice — either Mighty Gorgons or Cyclopes. Personally, I don't like that.

Well, have you ever placed both Mighty Gorgons and Cyclopes on the first week in WT? I never have, even though I've played noticeably more games as Stronghold than as other towns. There's little point in Mighty Gorgons without a Castle, and with a Castle, you can't manage it even with untethered Wolves.

Specifically on Jebus Cross, you can place 1-7 in the Fort with upgraded 1-2. With untethered Wolves, it'll be 1-7 in the Citadel, which is not much different for Jebus Cross.
