I turned on my laptop the other day... and immediately I was told that I'm not studying, that I'm a complete slacker and all I know how to do is play games... and that I won't get into any university... and now I'm reminded of that every minute :(

I sympathize. But it should be noted that the future belongs to programmers)))) Maybe you can come up with that as an excuse. I was also harassed about not getting into any university, but I did get in and they backed off)))

I think the same, but I also include designers among the programmers (you can't create games without them).

You say that your parents are clueless and don't know anything about computers. But do your mothers turn off the computer by pulling the plug? Do your fathers mess up the computer so badly that you wouldn't be able to fix it even if you wanted to, when they try to turn it off normally? Let's see who has the cooler parents?:D
