Well, the belief regarding "good and evil" is a separate topic altogether. In one of the psalms, it is said: "The gods of the nations are demons," meaning the context is clear – if nations worship demons, then they are doing EVIL. If you read the psalms, there are countless such "passages." Therefore, any "religious branch" based on "Jewish writings" already establishes this as a principle. I don't even need to mention the writings of biblical prophets; there is plenty of it there as well.
